The Company
In over twenty years of history Arimar has become a real reference point for the maritime sector both in Italy and abroad.
The company was founded in the late 80s and it was achieved by the entrepreneurial attitude of Mr Francisconi, who felt in the need to offer a new reality about Sea Life Safety to navigation users, combining innovation and creativity together with a high competence. Right from its beginning, Arimar has chosen to develop an industrial policy trough a high technological value, together with ongoing industrial investments. Arimar was the first Italian company in this sector to introduce industrialized production processes, designing advanced machinery especially for to their productive processes. In 1992, it was also the first company to use the technology of tissue welding by hot air, pursuing more and more higher quality standards.
Arimar consists of two sections working in a synergistically and an independent way:
- The Inflatable Section, which is divided into two fields, Boats and Safety;
- The Electronics Section, an exclusive Italian distributor of brands such as Furuno, MaxSea, Intellian and Accounting Services Authority for Radio-maritime services. Moreover, in 2007, the shipyard was acquired by Solemar, leader producer of large composite boats with a wide range of cabs and open. Solemar completes the group’ s offering, which ranks now as the most important in Europe for the production of boats ranging in size up to 17 m.
